Sifu Justin Och trains people in Lakeland Florida in the complete Ip Man martial art of Wing Chun Kung Fu. He has been training since age 8 but it wasn't until he started looking into reality based martial arts that he found his true passion in realistic self defense. Sifu Justin Och is always seeking out the knowledge & friendships of other practitioners, he is humbled by the depth and skill the art of Wing Chun (Ving Tsun / Wing Tsun) represents. His journey started in Kempo Karate to points of exhaustion, later training in Jiujitsu & Taekwondo. Through street & personal confrontations he sought out Wing Chun Kung Fu. It had the speed, techniques & effectiveness he had been searching for. After gaining his Black and Gold Sash in Wing Chun Sifu Justin Och trained in chinese grappling & no-gi jiujitsu under Master Dr. Nelson Rios Jiujitsu in Lakeland Florida). I am very thankful to these two great men & martial artists. It is our goal to education, support, and provide safety for women's protection, kids anti-bulling, family self defense, and improved survival of our students on the street using Wing Chun Kung Fu. The goal is has always been; greater survival for you and your family. Sifu Justin Och currently trains students and practitioners full time in Wing Chun Kung Fu at the Downtown Lakeland Close Combat Martial Art center. Training students and practitioners in Wing Chun street survival, stand up, knife, gun, stick and multiple attackers.

From 2011 to Now - Sifu Justin Och has traveled to 11 countries, become the Regional Director for the Southeastern USA for the World Ving Tsun Assocation as well as attaining 5th Degree Black & Gold Sash in the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu.

In 2011- Sifu Justin Och returned from advanced training in Europe (England, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany). He got together with practitioners from the powerful Wong Shun Leung System of Fighting and Individuals that trained directly with the family members of Ip Man including his sons (Ip Ching and Ip Chun) and even visited the Lo Man Kam Lineage. Sifu Justin Och was also awarded in 2011 "Certificate of Appreciation" for his charity work with the Peace River Center; a non-for profit women's and children's batterment shelter that works with women and children's safety, domestic violence, rape, batterment, verbal and psychological abuse.

In 2010 Sifu Justin Och was awarded the Inspirational Leadership in Combative Wing Chun Kung Fu for his constant stive towards the combative nature, protection and fighting concepts and capabilities of Ip Man Wing Chun Kung Fu style. Sifu Och's constant strive to know more and instill this protection in others around him gained him this prestigious award.

In 2009 Sifu Justin Och achieved the Black & Gold Sash in the complete system of Wing Chun Kung Fu under Grandmaster Steve Lee Swift & Master Dr. Nelson Rios, that same year he was awarded National Instructor of the Year by the Eastern U.S.A. Black Belt Hall of Fame.

In 2005 Justin Och was awarded Wing Chun Kung Fu Assistant Instructor of the Year by the "Grandmaster Sokeship Council" (Assistant Instructor under Grandmaster Steve Lee Swift).

Training first in boxing & Okinawa Karate, he knew as a child that survival was necessary. Coming from a traveling military family he wanted a art that would allow him to reach new levels, He found Wing Chun: in his words a Extremely Fast & Practical art form, designed only to save your life. While over seas, he trained under Simon Lau, Ip Chun, Ip Ching & Wong Shun Leung learning the complete Wing Chun system. He was the first U.S. citizen to be certified in Hong Kong as a senior instructor of the Ving Tsun Athletic Association.

Trained as a Hardcore Fighter & has attained a leading position in the U.S. as a true healer and naturopath. Dr. Nelson started on the streets then going to War as a U.S. Military Ranger, trained Military Combat, Boxing, Muay Thai, Gracie Brazilian Jiujitsu, SanShou, Knife & Gun & more. Sifu Dr. Nelson wanted a new level, he went to Wing Chun Kung Fu. 20 year Trained vetern under experienced instructors like G. Master Swift, (high level students under) Moy Yat, Ip Ching, Ip Chun & 4 of the 7 Branches of WIng Chun in China. Trained both Sifu Och & Sifu Koleczek.

Born in Foo Shan, China in 1936 he began his Wing Chun Kung Fu training under his father Yip Man's guidance at the age of thirteen. In 1962, living with his father, Ip Man taught out of there home. Because he was always around his father this gave Ip Ching an enormous amount of insight into Wing Chun and his fathers teaching methods. Today Ip Ching teaches privately at the Ip Man Ving Tsun Athletic Association in Hong Kong. Ip Ching is now internationally know and travels abroad conducting seminars in the United Kingdom, Europe, and U.S.

2nd Teacher of Bruce Lee, Known as Gong Sau Wong” or the “King of Talking with the Hands” Started with Ip Man at 17 with a reputation as a fighter, his ability was reknown as a formidable "Beimo" fighter. Beimo "challenge fights" had no rules and no protection. Standing 5' 6" tall, with over 100+ fights he was never beaten, beating most in 3 moves or less. His revolutionary idea's changed the style. Once asked if he was the best fighter in the world he replied "no, only the second best." When asked who was the best he said "I don't know, I haven't met him."

Dedicated to the cultivation and dedication of mind, body and spirit in the highest degree. He was born in mainland China and was originally educated by Buddhist monks. He began his training at the age of 7, studying Wing Chun Kung Fu and Chinese philosophy at the legendary Yip Man Martial Arts Academy; which was made internationally famous by the late Bruce Lee. Chosen to represent muscle power in 'The Living Body', a documentary on the human anatomy, made by 'Gold Crest films'. Master Lau has also been feature as the #1 Living Human Weapon.

Using Wing Chun he was known as a extremely proficient fighter and teacher of Bruce Lee and Wong Shun Leung. As a teen Ip Man learned the secret style of Wing Chun, later training under Leung Bik who gave him the deeper principles of Wing Chun. When Leung Bik died, Ip Man returned to Fatshan with the knowledge he had gained. In 1972 Grandmaster Ip Man passed away at 79. Six weeks before, knowing he had not long to live he made the supreme effort to commit the Siu Nim Tao, Chum Kiu and Muk Yan Jong forms to film to record and preserve the Wing Chun system. He is the eldest son of the late Grandmaster Yip Man (Yip Gei-Man). Born in 1924 in the Zheyieng Delta region of the Guangdong province in Southern Foshan China. Beginning his studies in the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu under his father a the age of 7 years old. In 1965, in accordance with his father's wishes, Ip Chun began participating in the work of the Ving Tsun Athletic Association (VTAA) founding group. Today Master Ip Chun is over eighty years old, and he is one of the most successful Wing Chun teachers in Hong Kong he is truly a man of his fathers light.

The largest influence on Bruce Lee's martial art development was his study of Wing Chun. Even his creation of "Jeet Kune Do" translated the Intercepting Fist is based and named after the intercepting fist of Wing Chun. Bruce Lee started with Ip Man (Yip Man) in 1954 after losing a fight to a rival gang. Bruce Lee trained formally and privately with Yip Man, form training, wooden dummy, free sparring, chi sau, sticking hands. Though fewer than 6 people were personally taught by Yip Man, Bruce Lee's keen interested and skill was rewarded. Wing Chun practitioners take a study in all martial arts styles so that they can fight effectively against them.
